Gilgit

North of Pakistan, in the high mountains, is a region called Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) that is very sparsely populated. Some of the world’s most difficult climbing routes can be found at the towers, also referred to as the “Towers of Inspiration,” which are a part of the Karakoram mountain range.

The Great Trango Tower, which rises to a height of 6,286 meters (20,623 feet), is the most well-known of the several peaks that make up the Trango Towers. One of the hardest and most popular climbing routes in the world is thought to be the Great Trango Tower.
